Jonathan J. Hunt, Esq Owner/Managing Partner
Jonathan J Hunt began practicing law in 1990 as a US Army JAG Corps Captain. After his active service, Jonathan started serving clients in the greater Savannah area with Wiseman, Blackburn LLC. During his tenure with Blackburn, Jonathan specialized in various practice areas - advising hundreds of clients throughout Georgia. Now the Owner and Managing Partner of Jonathan J Hunt LLC, Jonathan continues to provide excellent service to plaintiffs and organizations in our great state.
Deena Brabham, Legal Assistant
Deena started at the firm last year as a Secretary and has advanced to Legal Assistant. She worked as a dental assistant for over fifteen (15) years and possesses vast knowledge of the ins and outs of dentistry.
Deena has always had an interest in the area of criminal justice and even became certified as a private investigator in 2020. She has been able to utilize her knowledge and various skills she has obtained through the years and apply it to her job as a Legal Assistant in this firm. Deena has also had the opportunity to provide assistance and support to this firm on a wide range of legal matters. In addition to having acquired this experience, she is adept at doing legal research, drafting legal documents, analyzing and organizing information, and preparing case materials for trial.
Deena is also very proficient and has comprehensive knowledge of computers and software relevant to the job. She prides herself on her ability to remain focused in a fast-paced work environment and has, on several occasions, been commended on her excellent work, communication skills, ability to multitask, and her willingness to be a team player. She is also a valued asset to this firm.
Tamara Kirk, Sr. Paralegal
Tamara is a Certified Senior Paralegal with over 20 years of experience. She holds a Paralegal Certificate from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Human Services from the University of Phoenix. She is now working on her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice as well. Tamara is also a Georgia Notary and registered with the Georgia Supreme Court as a Civil Mediator. She has been a Mediator for over 14 years and does occasional volunteer mediation at the Mediation Center of Savannah. During her career as a Paralegal, she has had the opportunity to provide assistance and support to many attorneys on a wide range of legal matters. In addition to having an in-depth knowledge of legal principles, legal writing, Georgia law, and legal terminologies, she is adept at doing legal research, drafting legal documents, analyzing and organizing information, and preparing case materials for trial. Tamara is also very proficient and has comprehensive knowledge of computers and software relevant to the job. She prides herself on her ability to remain self-directed and focused in a fast-paced work environment and has, on several occasions, been commended on her excellent work product, communication skills, ability to multitask, ability to efficiently train personnel, and willingness to be a team player.
